The challenge
Legal information in Belize is hard to access and harder to understand, especially for non-lawyers and Spanish speakers — yet the stakes of getting it wrong are high.
Our approach
We built a retrieval-grounded assistant over legal sources with strict guardrails: it explains information in plain English or Spanish, cites context, and is explicit that it provides legal information, not legal advice.
